Adi and Nikki have acted together in Malupu, Yagavarayinum Na Kakka and Marakkatha Nanayam. The friendship on the shooting set later turned into love. The couple then decided to get married years later.
Nikki, who started modelling after completing her fashion design studies, is entering the world of cinema with the Kannada remake of the Tamil film Payya. Her elder sister Sanjana is a well-known model and actress. Nikki Galrani made her Malayalam debut with the film 1983.
