In a heartwarming display of cultural fusion, popular Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Lin Laishram, in a traditional Manipuri wedding ceremony held in Imphal, Manipur. Unlike many celebrities who prefer private weddings, the couple chose to share their special moment with their fans and followers on social media.

“Taking inspiration from the Mahabharata, where Arjuna wed the Manipuri warrior princess Chitrangada, we are embarking on our marital journey with the blessings of our loved ones,” the couple announced on social media.

Following their wedding in Manipur, Hooda and Laishram plan to host a reception for their close friends and colleagues in the Bollywood industry who reside in Mumbai, their current home.

A Glimpse into Their Stunning Manipuri Wedding

The couple arrived in Imphal two days before the wedding to participate in pre-wedding festivities and shared a picture of their arrival on social media. The wedding ceremony itself was a close-knit affair, attended by only their closest family and friends. Every aspect of the wedding, from the décor to the seating arrangements and attire, reflected their minimalist and understated aesthetic.

Laishram looked resplendent in a traditional Manipuri red lehenga, while Hooda complemented her in a crisp white kurta-pajama set. The bride accessorized her ensemble with elaborate gold jewelry pieces, including a multi-layered necklace, mathapatti, and bangles. Her makeup consisted of a dewy, flawless base, sangria-red lips, smokey bridal eye makeup, and a traditional bridal bindi design.
