Kalidas Jayaram, son of film stars Jayaram and Parvathy, got married. Kalidas tied the knot with model Tarini Kalingaraya at the wedding held in Guruvayur. The two had been in love for a long time.
Celebrities including Minister Mohammed Riyaz, Union Minister of State and actor Suresh Gopi, and his son Gokul Suresh attended the wedding.
Kalidas’ outfit was a red mundu and melmundu with a golden border. The mundu was worn in a panchakacham style. Tarini’s outfit was a peach-coloured sari. The sari was full of golden work. The bride looked even more beautiful with jasmine flowers.
The two had pre-wedding celebrations in Chennai last Friday. Close friends and family members attended the event. Tarina’s outfit was a violet-coloured Davani. Kalidas wore a golden-coloured mundu and shirt.
Kalidas and Tarini got engaged in Chennai last November. The love between the two became public when Tarini also attended the Onam celebrations at Kalidas’ house in 2022. Tarini, a native of the Nilgiris, won the Miss Tamil Nadu and Miss South India first runner-up titles in 2019. Tarini also participated in the 2022 Miss Diva Universe beauty pageant.
Kalidas’ sister Malavika’s wedding took place in Guruvayur last May. Jayaram and Parvathy got married on September 7, 1992, in Guruvayur.
